CITROEN 2CV DOLLY ~ Genuine 62483 Miles ~ SOLD (1986)
|The Citroen 2CV is the ultimate French driving experience.|
According to Practical Classics Magazine their value has increased over the last four years and our own experience confirms this. This increase in values is likely to continue as the number of well preserved and useable 2CVs decreases.
This example is an unrestored original Dolly in the colour scheme of Sunrise Red & Alpine White, known in French as Rouge Vallelunga & Blanc Meije.
It was subject to Citroen's Dinol anti-corrosion when new and this has certainly helped to preserve it to the standard we see today.
The original chassis has been replaced with a galvanised chassis and underside has since been professionally rustproofed again to give it further protection.
The history file contains the V5, the original stamped up service book, the original Anti-corrosion guarantee, numerous previous MOT certificates, the invoice and certificate for the re-rustproofong treatment carried out in 2013 and invoices for recent servicing work.
The car has a current MOT until July 2017 and Road Tax can be arranged if required. The current recorded genuine mileage is 62483.
This car would make an excellent daily user for somebody who wants to stand out from the crowd or could be used just for shows and rallies at the weekends. It would be happy to be seen at any of the 2CV events that are held throughout the country by the 2CVGB Club.
Citroen 2CVs are ideal first classic cars as spare parts are economically priced and readily available from specialists such as 2CV City in Bradford or ECAS in Stafford, both of whom can be found on the internet.
You get more smiles per mile when driving a 2CV than almost any other car.
Prospective buyers are welcome to come and see the car in our Leeds showroom.
