Morris mini minor de-luxe born april 6th 1960 in clipper blue
This car has many of the original 1959 features including:
-no recess to rear window panel
-magic want gear stick
-brass exterior hinges
-differing drain vents in roof gutter and drip rail
-pressed front grill in old english white
-square holed ash trays
This car has sat in dry storage for the last 19 years, full engine rebuilt with a 1071 cooper s fJ block in +040 and arden head with a straight cut 4 speeds gearbox
new front and rear subframe, cooper s 7.5 front brake disc
the body is in a generally good condition, although there areas of surface rust, the majotity of this age of car. as you can see from the interior photos the seat are showing their age, the driver seat is an original Microcell Contour just restored.
A lot of periods stuff are put on the car, original lucas driving and fog spot lamps, SPQR gear change, chronometric rev's clock...
The engine was built with a original 1071 cooper s fj block rebore in +040, a lot of MED parts are put to rebuilt (crankshaft, rod, flywheels, damper...) omega forged piston, 310 kent camshaft, straight cut 4 speeds gearbox with a quaife limited slip diff, arden head with a set of amal carbs and maniflow exhaust system with a rc40 stainless final box
the original 850 engine and gearbox are give next to the car
actualy with a british V5, i have the heritage certificate and chassis engine and body number reccorded
the car is eligible for up "Monte Carlo Historique"
