IMMACULATE CONDITION....Recently passed MOT (21st Feb 2019) with no issues (apart from a bulb replacement). This particular MG is finished in Oxford blue and I am led to believe only 36 were ordered in this colour in the UK, making this colour very rare indeed. Most RV8's (1,269) were green.
This car is in immaculate condition with no rust or cosmetic imperfections with only 26,500 miles on the clock. Original steering - not modified. Having purchased the car in June 2016 I have done less than 500 miles.
Supplied and fit complete new Navy soft top roof assembly (tonneau cover included in beige).
4x new Goodyear tyres.
Removed wood dash, wood trims for refurbished in elm with matching steering wheel (moto-lita) and elm gear knob refit.
Must be seen - beautiful drive - no rush to sell.
According to the MG Rover Group British National Type Approval Certificate present within the cars history file, this particular RV8 was built in 22 June 1994 (PI No. 30555).
Finished in delightful Oxford Blue with cream leather interior. The Oxford Blue coachwork gleams in the sunlight and there are no signs of rust anywhere. Inside the car is just as impressive with the cream leather complimenting the carpets (driver foot mat missing) and wood which also are all immaculate for its year.
Underneath the car, again, there is no corrosion just evidence of being regularly treated and maintained, there are no nasty oil leaks from the engine or transmission. On the road the car feels quick through the gears with everything feeling good through the transmission, steering and brakes.
I have kept the steering as it should be, and yes, it can be tough, but I felt I wanted to keep as much to the original spec as possible.
Accompanying the car is the highly documented history file and invoices along with all many MOT certificates from previous owners and works carried out and a spare key (although not with accompanying bow/head)! In addition to this, I have a full detailed Total Car Check report. The car also spent some time in Japan - although i do not have a lot of information on this.
To summarise, this car is in immaculate condition with subtle improvements. There is no rust or cosmetic imperfections. The engine is very sound and smooth, and it has covered a very low mileage with extensive service history to date.
Ready to show or enjoy, this rare vehicle is available for immediate purchase at a realistic price. I welcome any inspection
