BMW 316 E21 Two Door Saloon SOLD (1983)
|The BMW E21 316 saloon is now a rare car as according to the web site http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk there are less than 265 examples of all 3-Series E21 models currently licensed for road use in the UK.|
This car will be one of the very best of this small number of surviving cars.
It was registered new in April 1983 as a demonstration model by the official BMW dealers Coopers Leicester Ltd and given the superb registration number BRY26Y. Coopers kept it for only 10 months until February 1984 when it was sold to a gentleman from Sheffield. It has been in the possession of this gentleman since then, a total of 32 years.
It has now covered a genuine 52612 miles from new with an excellent service history and numerous expired MOT certificates to confirm this low mileage.
The Henna Red bodywork and Pergament interior are in exceptional condition and they need to be seen to be believed. The spare wheel is unused and still shod with the original unused tyre.
The current MOT runs until November 2017 and we can arrange road tax from the date of sale for the new owner if required.
The prices of good examples of 1980's classic cars are rising very fast as more people want the cars from their youth that they could not afford when young.
This BMW should turn out to be an excellent investment in the future.
Prospective buyers are welcome to come and see it in our Leeds showroom.
