1958 Austin A35 (Needs Bodywork Restoring) For Sale

Austin A35; This car was bought originally as a semi-complete project car, to use/ drive on weekends and for show. However, after having all of the work done, except the body work/ panel repair, the owner has decided that he doesn't want to spend any more money on this project.

This car has had the following work carried out on it and fully tested by a qualified mechanic:

Battery is new (needs charging).
Brakes cleaned and serviced (front and rear).
Chrome plating re-chromed all round (100% complete).
Engine cleaned and checked for leaks (runs smoothly/ no leaks).
Full service and checked over by mechanic (recently re-checked).
Handbrake rebuilt.
Leaf springs have been replaced/ new (rear).
Stainless steel exhaust fitted (new/ from manifold down).
Wheels powder coated all round (100% complete/ look original).

As already mentioned, the engine runs perfectly, there's no leaks and the car is fully drive-able.
The car's battery is new and works fine but needs charging.
This car is MOT and Road Tax Exempt.
The tires are in good condition and have almost all of the tread left on them, from new.
The car's interior is all original and in good condition/ nothing is missing.
The owner has receipts for all the work carried out so far (totalling £3, 000).
The car's log book is the original log book from new.

The only thing that needs sorting on this car is the bodywork/ panels and cleaning up underneath. Please see photos.

If you would like more photos or info on this car, please get in touch.

Sensible offers are welcome. Would be interested in part trade-in for a fully restored A35.

This car has had £3, 000 spent on it already, and has been checked and serviced by a fully qualified mechanic. As already stated the only thing that needs attention is the bodywork and the underside of the vehicle cleaning up. However, this vehicle could also be used for spares and repairs if the cost of complete restoration wouldn't be financially viable (a quote has not been given for how much it would cost to restore the vehicle completely).

The owner is asking £3, 000 for this car, simply to recover the amount spent on it so far, but is open to sensible offers.

Please contact if you would like to make an offer on this car, or if you would like more information/ photos.

Thanks for your interest.
