Mike Authers Classics of Abingdon offer for sale this lovely original Frogeye Sprite.
Fully restored back in the 1990's when it was stripped down to a bare shell and any rust cut out and new panels welded in. Prior to this the car had been stored for many years in need of work. When completed DVLA issued a new registration dateless number as it wasn't on their computer data base but nowadays with the involvement of clubs it's possible to get back its original registration if preferred.
Owned for the last 22 years and never driven in the rain and only covered 3,000 miles since restoration.
Retains its correct 948cc engine, drum brakes all round, it's correct dynamo and original steering wheel.
There are some age related marks to the paintwork but overall is very presentable. Priced to reflect this. No Offers please.
NOW SOLD BUT OTHERS IN STOCK. CALL For Details.
We will undertake a full service and give it 12 months MOT even thought being pre 1960 is is MOT exempt.
Viewings and inspections welcome, contact Mike Authers on the details below to arrange a mutually convenient time.
