Marshall, Sons & Co. of Gainsborough, Lincolnshire first began producing tractors in 1930, and the 'Field Marshall' was introduced after the second world war, in 1945. The Series I, as here, was a single-cylinder two stroke diesel engine, of about 6 litres capacity, coupled to a large flywheel. Production of this model ran until 1947, when the Series II went into production.
This particular example is a true 'barn find' and little is known of its history. The tractor appears complete, in the main, with what are believed to be the rear mudguards present but detached.
Excellent condition , all the parts are factory original . ALMOST NEW , VERY LITTLE RUN , EVERY SINGLE PART IS FACTORY ORIGINAL , TRACKS ARE LIKE NEW , ENGINE WAS NEVER OPEN . THIS TRACTOR IS COMPLETELY.....
