This car was built to mark the UK launch of the 385hp version of the MG X POWER SV-R. This car was initially displayed at the 2004 NEC Birmingham motor show. The extra performance is from a 5 litre X POWER version of the all aluminium, 32 valve, double-overhead camshaft V8 engine and was built in conjunction with V8 tuning specialist Sean Hyland.
The bodywork is made of lightweight carbon fibre with an integral rollover cage.
There is a plaque on the car detailing its provenance.
This car is one of 61 RHD XPOWER, SV, and SV-R's that were produced before MG SPORT AND RACING went into receivership on 12-04-2005.Production figures show that of the total of 61 built, 35 were built as the 4.6 litre SV model, another 3 were SV-S , whilst the remaining 23 were SV-Rs.
This car is in excellent condition with only 6,000 miles on the clock and represents a serious piece of MG HISTORY.
This car is finished in Midnight Blue,
With a full biscuit interior with contrasting blue carpet. Biscuit covered Dashboard, with matching mota-lita steering wheel.

The humble little MGA is a rare delight to see on the road today, this one is in need of some real love and effort to get it back on it's feet again.
