Restored from a totally original & complete barn find. The FIVA card states: Purchased in 1972 from inheritance in absoulutely original satge". This car has covered just 1000 or so miles since coming out of a nut & bolt restoration. We have photographs of the car as it emerged from hiding showing how complete & original the car was when discovered. It was supplied new in 1938 to the first Czech owner & has remained in the Czech Republic all its life.
The car comes to us with a current FIVA card & assorted pictures of it before, during & after restoration. It is currently Czech registered residing in a small private collection to the east of the country not far from Zlin & Brno/Ostrava.
The car is finished in its original colours of Cream over Black, the paint of course being pristine. To the interior is beige leather along with matching carpets. All instrumentation is present, correct & working.
Under the bonnet, the car is detailed to show standards & in lovely order, right down to the complete tool kit in its appointed box. The engine starts instantly & the car drives beautifully. A 328 triple carb head is available with the car for anyone wishing for more performance. The current owner however preferred originality over speed.
This is an impeccably restored car living in a small collection of other pristine 100 point cars including a 328 convertible in similar order & is absolutely ready for extended use. Viewings are by appointment near to Zlin.

Stunningly styled by Peter Schimanowski and epitomizing the German touring car of the period thanks to its sensuously sleek, curvaceous lines highlighted by its long bonnet and the distinctive rear end treatment with its spare tire enclosure.
During its 1938-40 production run, only1396 type 327s were made, including both cabriolet and coupe models with relatively few surviving.
The 327 was very much a status symbol in the capitols of Europe during the 1930-40s and fans of veteran BMWs consider the 327 Cabriolet to be one of the most beautiful convertibles of its time and a benchmark in the illustrious history of BMW. The coupes are held in similar regard.
