O type short wheel base brake down truck For Sale (1951)Bedford O type short wheel base brakedown truck. 1951. syncromech gear box so no double d clutch, very easy to drive, Completely restored. Used to be a tipper. It was involved with dismantling the old London bridge. You can see I used the A frame on the tipper shackles. This is my pride and joy, only used it 4 times, once on the London to Brighton commercial run 2013, Ardenley show, Capel show, and my local Fete in Reigate. Been stored in the back of my workshop, I start it up and roll it out every year, no rust, as you can see I've sand blasted it and put it into bare metal, welded plates around the cab, engine is converted to unleaded, new wiring loom, stainless steal sleeves in all brakes, Painted in Triumph brooklands green, interior with head lining, spats on rear mudguards, looks more like a showman lorry, harvey frost crane works as you can see on a couple of the photos towing a standard 10, tax exempt, MOT exempt, can be driven on a normal car licence, money well spent. Can be delivered round the country, I've got a friend who can do it for a reasonable cost. Selling my museum collection.
