This Citroen BX 17TGD is a future classic car as according to the web site "How Many Left" there are only 399 registered for use on UK roads and this example will be one of the best of these cars.
The BX was designed by Marcello Gandini who was also responsible for the Lamborghini Countach and was produced from 1982 until 1994.
This example was registered in August 1992 and as such was one of the last hatchback BXs to be manufactured. It is powered by the wonderful XUD7 diesel engine which is one of the most reliable diesel engines ever produced.
It is specified with five speed gearbox, metallic paint, electric sunroof, electric windows, alloy wheels, wind deflectors, rear sunblinds and boot spoiler.
In 2016 the car was acquired by its last owner who was looking for the best BX he could find in order to elevate it to concours standard as he had done with a GSA which we are also currently selling.
Unfortunately he was unable to to this due to ill health and the impending loss of his driving licence and as such the car is now regrettably for sale.
The history file contains the current V5, the current MOT which runs until May 2018, the Service Book, a number of previous MOT certificates and road tax discs, along with invoices for parts fitted and work completed during the past few years. The current recorded mileage is 119391.
Prospective buyers are welcome to come and view the car in our Leeds showroom.
