First registered new in the UK in February 1995, only 48188 Miles covered, presented in rare Black (040) (Cream Beige Leather), 2 door Convertible 2.2 Litre Automatic, We are delighted to offer this Exceptional W124 Mercedes with only 48188m from new.
The W124 was one of the last 'properly' built Mercedes before the accountants got involved and are becoming increasingly sought after by enthusiasts and collectors alike.
In Cabriolet form the car was incredibly expensive new at around £50k in 1995, making it quite a rare car.
This Example is the best we have ever had and looks stunning in Black, code 040 with Black hood and stunning contrasting Cream Beige Leather.
According to the MB Data card the options are -Passenger Airbag, Storage Box in Front Tray, Folding Armrest Front, 8 Hole Light Alloys and Heated Front Seats.Fewer electrics to worry about.
Clearly cherished from new the paintwork has a deep even shine, all the bodywork is arrow straight and the wheels unmarked with quality brand tyres all round.
The leather is virtually as new as is the black soft top.
New MB Discs and Pads just fitted all round.
The wheel arches and underside show none of the rust issues that can afflict this model.
Furthermore the E220 engine pulls with gusto through the gears. This engine has none of the wiring and head gasket issues that afflict the E320.
This Immaculate example comes with its original service book, having been supplied new by Pentagon Mercedes of Buckingham. It has a lovely history file with regular servicing by main dealers and MB Specialists with a recent service at MB Shrewsbury at 41,609m.
It has all its MOTs from new and the mileage is warranted.
Wind Deflector, Warning Triangle, Tool Kit and unused spare wheel and first aid kit all present.
Complete with lots of bills, 2 keys, MB Keyring, All Books and documents.
One of the best and lowest mileage cars available.
Prices of exceptional examples such as this are rising fast, infact at Techno Classica Essen this year i saw two similar cars selling for €35000.00, so please do NOT compare this "like new" example to the £sub 10k cars offered.
In my opinion the best modern useable all round classic all for £22000.00 ono.
This 1963 Mercedes-Benz 220SE Cabriolet is an excellent original car that could use minor cosmetics. Black with tan interior and a manual gearbox. Mechanically sound. The bumpers need to be re-chromed.....
