This is an original RHD, UK home market car with overdrive, matching numbers and BMIHT heritage certificate. It left the factory in white with black ambla interior trim, a surrey top, which is no longer with the car, wire wheels and a heater.
It underwent a full, professional, body-off restoration in the early nineties which is holding up well. The paint is excellent, interior trim is very good and chrome is also very good. It has a new-ish mohair hood. Panel gaps are not as correct as they would be if this was a more recent restoration but they are not unsightly.
It has a few upgrades - stainless cross box exhaust system, woodrim steering wheel, electric fan, spin-on oil filter, and a Pertronix electronic ignition (not currently fitted). Tyres are Vredestein T Trac (May 2013) on good, painted MWS wire wheels. I have had the car for 7 years and have a long list of work completed in my ownership. This year I have fitted a new Newman cam/followers/timing chain, a rebuilt distributor (Martin Jay), NOS suction chambers for the SU HS6s and a new window regulator to passenger door.
This is not a concours contender but is a solid useable car with a nice patina. MoT now until 06/10/2018 - no advisories.
