Aston Martin V8 Vantage For Sale (1984)
|Announced in 1977, the Vantage version of the venerable AM V8, produced 40% more power and a 10% increase in torque and was available only with a 5 speed manual transmission, creating the fastest accelerating production car in the world, with 0-60 mph in coming up in 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 170 mph. Heralded in period, the V8 Vantage can justifiably lay claim to the title of ‘Britons first Supercar’ and has become internationally regarded as the ultimate GT car of the period.|
Vantage production ceased in 1989 with just 304 Vantages were constructed, with the improved styling o the ‘Oscar India’ model we are offering. Up rated and rebuilt to X-Pack engine specifications in 1990 and fitted with the desirable late Vantage16’ Ronal wheels and suspension upgrades. This well presented example is being offered for the first time in 20 years.
