This really is a very special car, and we are delighted to own it and be able to offer it to the market.
This car was first registered in July 1965, it was supplied by "Righton & Bennet Ltd." in Portsmouth to a Mr. John Miller who kept the car in the end for an incredible 45 years!
On file we are fortunate to have the original sales invoice for the car (including the delaership's covering letter) and also the original old style registration document.
Mr. Miller enjoyed the car early in its life with service stamps in the original service book reflecting his mileage of 5,460 by July 1968. Then the usage got significantly less to say the least with the car having only covered a total mileage of 9,010 when Mr. Miller eventually parted with it in August 2010!!
He sold the car to Mr. Eric Rousseau from London who then set about beautifully recommisioning it with thousands of pounds worth of invoices on file to evidence the work performed.
Now presented in virtually as new condition this car has still only covered a genuine 10,111 miles!
Stunning both to look at and wonderful to drive - this car is surely the closest available to a new Spitfire on the market, certainly the best we have seen, a pleasure to have in our showroom - and very likely the best Spitfire Four Mk2 in the world!!!
