This genuine Beetle 1303 Karmann Cabrio was imported from Avellino, Southern Italy in 1990 by the owner of a VW Main Dealership. The same dealership subsequently restored the vehicle soon after (during 1990), which as you can see from the pictures was carried out to a very high standard, as you'd rightly expect, if they were doing it for their own boss! The result, as you can see from the photos, is simply stunning, even after all these years (proving the job was done well) and I firmly believe this is one of the best Beetle Cabrios on the market.
In 1996, the car was then sold after quite some persuasion to a very good customer of the dealership, who was also an avid VW enthusiast, and who regularly showed the car over the summer months in subsequent years. They kept it right up to 2012, after which it was then bought by a friend and past customer of mine, who is also a member of the Historic VW club. I acquired it from him back in 2014 after he got the chance to buy a concourse 1957 Beetle. I'd always said to him if he wanted to sell it, I'd buy it as I love these cars, plus it's a nice change from my bread and butter Mercedes.
Just to point out this is my own personal car, which I've owned since 2014, but hardly ever used it. As many visitors to my premises will know it's been stored in my unit during my ownership, in fact its become a great talking point as people just to gravitate towards it, sitting in what's now known as "Beetle Corner". Also, as far as I'm aware, the car has always been garage kept, and never used in bad weather or over the winter, so as you can see the condition has remained stunning. I'm not altogether sure I want to sell, however I've hardly ever driven the car, and it is taking up commercial space that could be used to store another Mercedes.
Therefore I've decided to test the water. If she sells, great, if not then I'll happily keep her; as with all the VW air cooled vehicles, these are great investments at the moment, and appreciating rapidly now. More important than that though, is she's great fun to drive, and really does turn heads.
This car wants for nothing, and whoever buys her, can jump straight in and enjoy open top classic motoring. Equally she could also earn her keep, as she’d be perfect for wedding car hire. Whatever the case, whoever is the next custodian of this beautiful Beetle Cabrio, is in for a real treat.
THE MTSV DIFFERENCE
Unlike some, I don’t just simply go out, buy any old car, give it a good clean, then advertise it for more than the purchase price, disregarding any issues the car may have in the hope the new buyer won’t notice…I just couldn’t do that. The cars I source are carefully selected and I work very hard so that when my cars leave me, I have the satisfaction of knowing they are as good as they possibly can be within the constraints I have. As such I have many repeat customers and new customers that have been recommended via word of mouth…the ultimate accolade for anyone in business. To read more, see my website at http://www.mtsv.co.uk

Finally, I'm situated in Keighley, West Yorkshire (Postal Code Area BD21) which is approximately 11 miles from Skipton, and 20 miles West of Leeds.
