At the heritage centre it was confirmed during a visit that this van is the 2nd oldest surviving van known to them. However we believe it to be registered the day before the other surviving van. The other surviving van however has been modified & now retains very very little of what it should be like.
The van has been restored to exacting standards of this early mark. Features such as flat roof, straight gear stick, seats, rear radius arms etc etc have been retained, only found on the first early vans. The quality of the restoration goes without saying, it is concours, absolutely beautiful.
It comes with the all important heritage certificate confirming the numbers are all correct and matching. Along with this certificate is substantial history, invoices ascertaining to the restoration, original early Mk1 Van literature (brochures, press releases etc.), the original chassis plate, handbook and schedule of repair charges.
This beautiful van is ready to be viewed by appointment at our West London Showroom. N.b It will have the door cards re-fitted and our vinyl lettered livery removed prior to purchase.
