This eye catching 2004 Exige Series 2 touring in Saffron Yellow features the desirable naturally aspirated 190 1.8L Vvti 2ZZ Toyota engine and 6 speed manual gearbox.

It presents a rare opportunity to buy a genuine low mileage S2 with only 12K miles and in collectable condition. This lovely Exige has had the same owner for the last 11 years (2 owners in total) and is well known to us here at Aston Workshop having been serviced by us for several years.

This Lotus has the rare soft top conversion allowing use as a roadster or coupe and comes complete with a black short soft top (the insulated touring type) with cross bars as well as the original yellow exige coupe roof.

The interior features black carpet mats, black alcantara door panels and seats complimented by a grey alcantara dash.

It is fitted with air conditioning which is fully working, the original Blaupunkt DAB stereo head unit has been removed but the wiring is present behind the plain black dash blanking plate currently fitted should any future owner wish to install an entertainment system. Electric windows, remote central locking and sun visors complete the luxurious touring trim level.

This stock Lotus has been modified only by way of a Genuine Lotus Stage 2 silencer fitted and a B Type ECU with lotus 5750rpm lowered cam change point installed to improve on road power delivery (original A type ECU with 6200rpm cam change point supplied also)

It's worth noting that it has been continually garaged throughout its life and only used in dry conditions. The exterior paintwork is in superb order and is as good as can be expected for such a low mileage lotus.

These early naturally aspirated S2 exiges are the lightest series two produced with an unladen weight of only 875kg, and around 60kg lighter than a later standard exige S.

Such a low mileage well cared for example offers a robust investment opportunity for this lightweight modern classic.

Cherished number is not included in sale.
