In 1924, Monet Goyon launched a new sporting model with a 175cc 2-stroke engine, model 'Z' is equipped with a sporty British 2-takt Villiers engine with dual exhaust. After many successes in 1925, this model featured the 'Super Sports Brookland TT' Villiers engine (this engine has broken many records in the Brookland circuit). This is the fastest Villiers engine ever made. With this model they were 4 times champion of France (1924,25,26,27), they won 3 x Grand Prix de France (1924, 25, 27, 29), 4 x first place at Mont Ventoux (1924, 25, 28, 29), and no less than 20 world records (1924, 25, 29)! All of this was won by factory riders Louis Janin, Albert SOURDOT, HOMMAIRE and GAUSSORGUES.
This motorcycle is the 1928 Model T with the fast 175cc Villiers engine "Super Sport TT" with double exhaust and oil tank with oil pump to deliver oil directly to the piston, especially for race.
Engine is in good running condition but tank and carburettor have to be cleaned. Oil tank was missing but it is already there. Only the oil pump is missing. This model was made by the factory as a normal street bike but with many racing options. This model was made to work in the week and on weekends you could remove all street version parts and go racing

Norton International Mod. 40, racing specification, delivered 1932 to Hans Soenius from Cologne. He was then the best the best German road racer and raced the bike in 1932 and 33 before he joined NSU as a works driver.

Becoming rare,this powerfull 2 stroke engine is still in excellent working engine,Was driven around ran ok.with no problems,then laid up for 17 yrs,Got it running !!
