1983 Timewarp Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.6L 116 Series For Sale
Having owned and enjoyed this lovely car for two years, I have decided to offer my exceptionally rare Giulietta 116 for sale. The previous owner bought the car in 1995 and kept it in beautiful condition during his 21 year custodianship.
Always garaged and having covered 81,000 miles over it's 34 years, it drives very well and you can still feel the benefit of Alfa's decision to go to expense of utilising the GTV and Alfetta's transaxle layout.
The 1.6 litre twincam engine feels very willing, is eager to rev and is in fine health.
The body is in excellent condition, as is the interior. During my ownership I have removed the protective coat of oil based rust prohibitor from the engine bay to reveal the virtually "as new" inner wings and bulkhead.
Four new tyres are fitted.
Although it has just flown through it's MOT, I decided to take this opportunity to replace the exhaust and brakes.
Unfortunately the previous owner mislaid the service history but the condition of the car added credence to the owner's claim his professional mechanic Brother-in-Law looked after maintenance.
Although it is currently taxed, insured and MOT'd until February 26th 2019, I rarely have the opportunity to drive it and have displayed it at just one car show during my ownership.
