I bought this wonderful machine almost two years as a bit of fun and nostalgia. I used to have one as a field car, my friend had one which we went everywhere in and my mother had one, so I have had a great trip down memory lane and it always makes me smile when I drive it. Sadly, I have too many toys and not enough room. The car has never missed a beat, always starts, drives very well and is great on fuel. It has a particularly low mileage of 44,014. The chap who sold it to me said that the second owner was elderly and owned the car from almost new and had the car most of its life covering minimal annual mileage.
The cars of the 1980s are rising rapidly and are due to gain pace as is widely documented by the classic car publications. Now is the time to buy one! It is incredible to think that these remarkably rare cars were once a common sight on the roads. Sadly, as many of you will know, despite been virtually bomb-proof mechanically these little beauties suffered terribly (as a lot of Japanese cars did) from the dreaded tin worm/rust. So, it is nothing short of a miracle that this particular example has not only survived but is in sound and solid condition and has remarkable mileage on the clock. As an entry level classic, this little car offers great fun and is a lot of car for the money which will undoubtedly be a fantastic investment.
