although the vehicle is believed to be a genuine camel trophy as there has been extensive checks etc by the previous owner who is contactable if need be i am selling as a replica in order to avoid disappointment as i have no physical proof
it is confirmed that the original paint colour is sandglow and states brown on the logbook which is correct for a genuine camel trophy, this was not a colour option for the general public as it was only used on the camel trophy vehicles
land rover have confirmed that the registration mark tallies up with a factory that produced camel trophy vehicles
it also has the 24v power supply underneath the bonnet which would have been used in cases of emergency for welders and floodlights etc which is also a feature of a genuine camel trophy which a lot of unsuspecting people are un aware of
the vehicle underwent an extensive restoration a few years ago by the previous owner which i have loads of pictures from start to finish on a disc it shows how it looked when he bought it and shows the colour being sandglow before it was resprayed, it also shows any rust or rot being cut out and repaired properly and the underside had been undersealed etc
the previous owner spent a lot of time and money on this vehicle as he is a complete land rover enthusiast and knows everything there is to know about this vehicle
although it underwent the restoration the vehicle does have a number of cosmetic issues due to the previous owner driving it at off roading events so please dont expect an immaculate vehicle because its not .
you got to remember these camel trophies were produced specifically for extreme off roading events rather than to look nice
to be honest the vehicle does need tidying in places but as you can see in the pictures its no rot box
as you can see it also has all the other extras/features of a genuine camel trophy including
genuine brownchurch rook rack
camel trophy plaques
roof spot lights
superwinch husky 10 worm driven winch (£1400)
sand tracks (£400)
aluminium storage boxes/cases
removable tow bar
also not on the vehicle in the picturesis
a rear step ladder
a set of stainless steel cables that fit from the bull bars to the roof rack
a spare wheel
aswell as the above the vehicle has
thatcham 1 alarm
removable momo steering wheel
2 sets of keys and alarm fobs
im sure ive probably missed a couple of things out as there is a lot to remember off the top of my head so if there are any questions or queries that you may have i will be more than happy to address these in the best way that i possibly can
i also have some spares to go with the vehicle including:
a spare alternator, starter motor some brake pads and shoes plus a couple of other bits
may take a part exchamge
the vehicle is located in rainham kent
i can deliver the vehicle within reason for a small fee to cover my fuel cost and time this will be required in advance
