1977 Triumph Dolomite Sprint - Lovely example For Sale
The car was stripped for works in around 1996 when the sills, the passenger front wing, rear wheel arches, bonnet, boot lid, boot floor, front & rear valances & drivers rear door were replaced and the car was the subject to a full re-spray in its original Inca Yellow, no under seal is present as the car is painted gloss black underneath, it was then dry stored until purchased in May 2016. The engine and gearbox were rebuilt by TT Motor Services of Dorset who used to race Sprints quite successfully by all accounts, but has only recently been fitted. The engine has never been run since a full fast road spec rebuild as it has only recently been refitted to the fully painted engine bay.
When I purchased the car it was 98% complete, a few parts had been lost/ misplaced over the years which were successfully sourced and fitted..
Many new parts have been fitted along with 5 new tyres on 5 refurbished original GKN genuine Sprint alloy wheels, a full sports stainless steel exhaust system, new brake master cylinder, brake calipers, front brake hoses, brake pipes, fuel lines, fuel pump, propshaft centre bearing and three new universal joints, new clutch, new polyurethane bushes to include; front sub-frame bushes, antiroll bar bushes, steering rack bushes, front upper wishbone bushes, tie bar and front shock absorber bushes, new windscreen inserts and clips, clutch kit, clutch master and slave cylinders, new engine mounts, gearbox mounting and front seatbelts, furflex door trim seals, new engine firewall material, various gaskets/ O rings/ hoses, the front sub-frame and hardware has been shot-blasted and painted gloss black, the fuel tank was also painted gloss black along with various other ancillary items, and the tracking was undertaken. The headlining and interior are in good order although the door cappings could do with being re-veneered. A lot of the parts fitted actually came with the car and things like waistline and lower door mouldings, door interior and exterior weather strips came in BL packaging.
This vehicle is currently MOT’d and available to road test, tax exempt and as of next year will be MOT exempt, please call to arrange an appointment to view. I do rebuild classic cars for a living and have done so for 30 years, the works carried out are therefore of a professional nature although this is a personal car of mine.
Some history and photos will accompany this very pretty & well presented Dolomite Sprint.

The car previously had a bit of history on the ...
