Early Triumph Spitfire MK3 1300cc. 12 Months MOT For Sale (1969)
|My early Triumph Spitfire MK3 is for sale. I have summarised each area below. Call me on 07533301097 for more details or to view.|
This is a very early and original vehicle. The previous owner owned and used her for thirty years and so did his father before him. Both were navy men who only used the car when on-shore.
12 months MOT without any advisories. Original 1300cc engine completely rebuilt (the most sought after engine). New clutch. Lots of reconditioned parts including; radiator, Kenlow fan, master cylinder, slave cylinder, steering rack and Delco distributor. Twin-carburettors fitted, but these would benefit from tuning.
No corrosion or signs of corrosion. The paintwork is not perfect with some signs of filler.
Totally solid. No holes or corrosion. Chassis detailed and painted. Floors and boot also totally solid.
All original including early seats and steering wheel.
Brand new. No leaks.
The speedometer states 2660 miles. The previous owner states this is true to his knowledge having owned the car thirty years. However, there is no documentation to back that up and I would suggest that is more likely than not incorrect.
