Reluctantly for sale is my 1977 Triumph T140V which has both Frame and Engine with matching numbers ( January 1977). Started life as a U.K home market but converted to U.S. styling but lower bars kept. Has been approximately 95% restored and has covered 800 Miles towards being run-in and is on 3rd Engine Oil Change.
Have been finishing this bike since February 2015 and every job has been documented and laminated for the next owner. Loads of receipts for items purchased. Will list below the main jobs that have been completed.
Replaced both Front and Rear Brake Discs. Front & Rear Master Cylinders
( Stainless Steel). Final Drive Chain and Rear Sprocket. Both Front Forks Replaced Completely using Progressive Springs. Rev counter and Speedo replaced. Clutch cable (Venhill), Speedo and Rev Counter Cables.
Twist grip assembly. Headlamp Lens & Replacement Headlamp Switch.
Have replaced Inlet & Exhaust Rocker Box Covers & Fitted Copper gaskets. Replacement Cylinder Head which has new Valve Guides, Valves and Seats Re-Ground and has been Gas Tested. Fitted with Copper Cylinder Head Gasket. Has two new Amal Carburettors that were fitted by the previous owner in 2015. Replacement Tappets. New mesh Sump oil Filter & Alloy Sump Plate. Replaced Kickstarter Spring.
Included Work Shop Manual & Parts Manual. Also dust cover in Red with Black lettering (TRIUMPH) for inside use only. Bar End Mirror Fitted.
Both Push Rod Tubes replaced for Alloy ones and seals replaced.
Have run in with B.P. Ultimate which I understand is Ethenol Free.
Owners Handbook which I have Downloaded from Internet, printed out & laminated recommends a minimum 97 Octane Rating.
Shortly qualifies for free Road Tax.
Will qualify for free M.O.T at end of May.
Spare Clutch Cable Included also pair of new Footrest Rubbers.
Always kept Garaged & Dry Use Only.
