For sale is my beautifully restored Scimitar 3.0 V6 Coupe
Below is the list of work undertaken as well as that still outstanding:
It's had a full back to sub-frame overhaul, for the most part mechanically original with the exception of a new reconditioned Cosworth v6 Essex motor with tank mounted electric fuel pump. It has its original wheels powerded coated and also a set of GTE wolf race wheels for day to day.
Its has had a full respray,
fully leather custom interior,
new (as original) gauges,
New door panels,
Work outstanding -
Minor fibreglass repair required on front left wing
Internal carpets not yet fitted
Suspension Coilovers are past their sell by date and could do with being replaced therefore it's being sold as a 95% finished project!
They don't come much nicer than this. In the hands of one caring owner for 26 years of its life. Much recent expenditure including a gear box rebuild and professional repaint. Finished in stunning deep burgundy with superb original biscuit trim. Fitted with automatic transmission, power steering, .....
One of only 120 left on the road this example has been carefully dry stored for many years but due to ill health this project was never finished. Complete and only needs putting back together, some engine work and a light recommision.
A very nice example of this late series model of which only 407 SE6Bs, were manufactured then from 1983, they all were then on a galvanized chassis as standard, as this one is, being a September 1983.

In the early days of turbo charging small company called Rooster Turbos of silverstone started turbo charging the Essex engine.
To do this, they went to cosworth!
They essentially had the parts made by cosworth and assembled and fitted the engines .....
