I Bought this bike 5 years ago intending to ride it and ended up doing an almost complete restoration.
Finally got it on the road last year. I have decided now that it is too fast for me. Well, not exactly me but my wife has an old Francis Barnett 122cc and if we go out together the poor Triumph hardly gets out of second gear. So the Bonneville needs a new home.
Runs and rides nicely, very quiet smoke and rattle free engine, everything electrical is spot on with a nice new loom and electronic ignition. The chrome is all good as is the paintwork, the petrol tank internal has been treated to a Por-15 coating. All in all a very nice bike, it will make the right person very happy.
