Having formed part of a small collection of Rileys for some years, this example of the Adelphi was first seen by myself following the completion of its restoration in the early 1990s. It was restored to a particularly high standard and today, some 27 years later, the car is a credit to the restorer as it remains in extremely good order.
Finished in Grey as original with blue leather and matching wheels, the car is correct in terms of fixtures and fittings and must be one of the better examples surviving.
Just a handful of miles have been covered since a full service was carried out and the sunshine roof removed and completely refurbished back to working order.
The engine was reconditioned around 9 years ago and only around 4,000 miles have been covered subsequently.
Originally registered in Surrey, the car retains its original registration number and Buff RF60 log book dating back to 1960.
Much history including the original drivers handbook and numerous bills are supplied.
More photos will be available in due course.

The Riley 9 was a middle class car which Riley launched in 1926 with the first model being the Riley 9 Monaco. We understand this Riley 9 to be carrying a ‘special’ bodywork with close similarities.....
Recently completed and now wonderful to drive. The Riley has a rebuilt Merlin 9 engine and ENV preselector gearbox. The brakes are actually quite good for a 9, stopping the car quickly with no fuss......
