A fantastic example of these rare and increasingly desirable classic BMWs. Restored to original specification. This car is an Australian import so has survived remarkably.
This car was supplied new in December 1976 to a Mr. John Chapman in Australia. It has factory manual gears, air conditioning, and is a non sunroof car.
The colour scheme is the original Arktis blue with honey velour interior. The car has benefitted from a good respray in the original colour, and looks spectacular. The interior is all original except the driver seat base which has been re-trimmed. There are even some period Coco mats, and a leather trimmed BMW steering wheel to finish it off.
The car was imported in May 2016 and has been in single ownership since then. It is UK registered and will come with 12 months MOT.
Recent expenditure includes a bespoke stainless exhaust system (costing over £1000), one cast manifold replaced, refurbished BBS Mahle Alloy wheels with new Blockley radial tyres, early style small chrome mirrors, New track control arms, new Bosch MFA unit, urethane rear beam bushes, and an air conditioning service.
The car is now ready to use and enjoy and is a simply delightful car, which cost more than an E-type when new, and was the fastest 4 - door car in the world at the time.
£27,500 Part exchanges considered. Finance available.
