Recent12,000 mile yearly service. Only done 2,000 miles last year.
The interior is low on priority as I am still undecided the colour range I want. I fancy cream/magnolia seats and interior with yew dashboard and white magnolia instruments. Hence that is one area that is scruffy but only superficially. The previous owner put new carpets in but if I chose to change would change them. I have been getting used to the existing colour and think all black everywhere may also be an alternative so I had not made my mind up yet. There is a company near here that only do the great new seats like MGOC provide but heated ones as well!
Heater is brilliant. An asthmatic cough is usually more effective than most MG heater fans. Thankfully this one is brilliant. It is only a one speed fan due to its age yet blows a continuous steady stream of hot air.
I have driven it in the recent cold weather, snow and blizzards, extremely cold and it heats the car up great.
I have to think careful about what to wear, as I am used to wearing pullovers and coats in an MG yet in this one often get too hot.
Thank you for viewing. Feel free to ask questions and if you have any interest please do come and see it in person and even be driven in it.
It has started first time every time since I have had it. I use it regularly for work, about twice a week. Even in snowy and cold days or left a number of days it starts first time. It lives in a garage.
Been working on it and had great plans for it yet sadly offering my cherished GT due to divorce settlement and legal fees. :-(
Thankfully it doesn’t have a webasto sunroof (always leaks).
Seats, planned to have new ones heated ones.
rev counter (needs new one)
fuel gauge/ sender
electrics to rear screen sorted but needs new back screen for heated element.
fog and spot not wired in yet.
many other things as it is a work in progress.
Basics have been sorted, mechanically and just interior and as I was still debating colour schemes it is as it is now for the new owner to choose.
I have pleasure in offering a very fair price for an increasing in value chrome bumper GT.
