1947 Healey Beutler.
Pietro Nessi in 1947 approached Donald Healey and ordered 6 chassis. The first two were shipped to Beutler Coachworks in Switzerland. One was bodied as a Drophead and the other this car was bodied as a Coupe. The car was entered in the 1948 Mille Miglia, (start number 39) but was not completed in time for the event. In did however return in 1949 (start number 410) and started the event.
In total there were 4 Dropheads built and the final chassis being another Coupe of a different design for the Turin Motorshow of 1949.
The car has just returned from this years Mille Miglia where it performed very well and finished in the top 100 giving us the trophy for the best British crew.
