2003 MARCOS prototype - 1 of 2 rare vehicles For Sale

This Marcos is one of the last cars from the Wiltshire factory and is the prototype and press release car, a piece of motoring history. See Graham Bell's test report on Piston Heads May 2004. Where he managed 150mph before running out of track in 4th gear in heavy rain.
The car is equiped with -

Electrically adjustable pedal box
Adjustable steering column
Electric windows
Remote central locking
Heated windscreen
Lined hood
Air conditioning
Limited slip differential
17 inch alloy wheels
Power steering

The engine is derived from the Rover 5 litre V8 producing 320bhp with 350ft-lb of torque. Combine this with a weight of just 1025kg and a chassis developed from the 'Le Mans' car giving it a 0 to 60 of around 4 seconds, and a top speed of over 160 mph.
The Marcos is a joy to drive, can be used as a docile every day car, capable of carrying two sets of golf clubs or plenty of luggage for a European trip. Alternatively to roar around a race track on a track day with some spirited driving.

I have the full history (The actual car on the sales brochure), including service history from new, with just nearly 15000 miles since leaving the factory.
I have enjoyed the car for 3 trouble free years with all the original niggles sorted. With 12 months Mot and new rear tyres, last serviced 500 miles ago. The car is ready to be enjoyed this summer.
