I only got this car last year and would have kept it but I have unexpectedly run out of room. compared to what I have seen this car is a bloody bargain at this price. It’s as solid as a rock and very clean underneath with photos to back this up

all the dials work as they should, lights indicators and such, the radio needs connecting to a speaker, someone has fitted an aftermarket electric Ariel, I never use stereos in these old cars. the fuel tanks change over as they should as well.
This car was first owned by Sydney Brown of Sydney Browns Fine Furniture somewhere in Birmingham I believe, in 1971 it changed hands and then stayed with the same owner until last year, some history and old documents available, there is a jaguar heritage certificate with the car, some spares will come with the car.
The paint is ok slight bubble and crack on bonnet paint I have photos of you need them ,bumper chrome is passable, door surround chrome is excellent, Grill is passable , interior is nice with brand new blue luxury pile lambs wool over rugs fitted to front and rear these are hand made and made specially for this car, looks to have a full factory issue original tool kit. New discs fitted to the front and rear brakes have been checked and are in good order, this car drives very nicely and for a huge car handles exceptionally well, done MOT and service in late 2017, mileage has obviously gone around the clock I would say although the MOT in 2009 has a mileage of 2525 so not done much in-between, always commands attention when out and about, if you don't want people to stop and talk to you about this car then you best go buy a euro box......
Worst point is the heater the original system has long since rotted out and been removed and I have had a make shift system put in which is operated in the old way by turning a tap to let the water circulate through and then when you turn on the fan in the car you get heat coming through, from what I can gather these cars were notorious for rotting the heating systems.
I picked the car up from storage and t appears the sender unit from one of the tanks has stopped working, a minor thing but needs to be said.

If you take 'www.how-many-left.com' as gospel, then there are only circa 50 of these wonderful Jaguar MK10s remaining and I doubt only a handful in this completely untouched & unrestored condition; I guess they are tucked away in long term ownership....much the same as this Jaguar has .....
