Immaculate 1934 LWB Replica Austin Ulster with a highly appropriate Registration number, built on a tourer chassis.
This has been a three year labour of love and has been built to the highest standards with no expense spared. The body has been lovingly crafted it is of fully riveted construction and has been left in a natural bare alluminium finish to show its clean lines.
The chassis has been boxed and fully refurbished,bowed ulster front axle with all new bushes and kingpins along with steering links and damper bushes, rear axle is the D type with standard ratio again all new bushes and pins locate it.
Under the bonnet is a mildly tuned engine featuring a four branch exhaust manifold,1 1/4 SU carb, High compression cylinder head, reprofiled cam followers, deep alloy sump and a fully crack tested crank with con-rods running new white metal bearings.A standard ratio refurbished gear box is attached via a newly relined clutch and brand new starter ring gear.
Nineteen inch red powder coated wheels have new tyres and tubes and attach to fully relined brakes which are operated by new cables and brake arms.
A new cotton braided wiring harness, new fuse box, new regulator ,refurbished Su pump , new ignition/light switch and a quality battery all feature on the 6 volt electrics.
Inside the cockpit two sculpted alluminium seats hold you steady and are surprisingly comfortable the steering wheel is an early 7 item ,a handy door allows you to store items in the tail.Up front are two Brooklands aero screens.
As you can see from the photo's this car has been crafted to the highest standards and I am confident you will not be dissappointed.
