This is an outstanding matching numbers MGB Roadster in beautiful condition which has been with its previous owner for 17 years and some 6500 miles, and was obviously a much loved and scrupulously maintained car throughout that period.
Believed to have been fully restored in the late 1990s, and kept in excellent order ever since, the car is completely corrosion free and in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. The paintwork presents beautifully and the underside is in body colour coated with clear waxoyl so nothing is hidden and its excellent condition can readily be inspected. The engine runs extremely well with no untoward noise and excellent oil pressure, and the overdrive gearbox and final drive are smooth and quiet in operation. The interior is excellent with a walnut effect dashboard, excellent leather seats, and very good carpets and hood. There is a hood cover and full tonneau present with the car.
The history file contains numerous MOTs and invoices and details of all previous keepers. The current MOT runs until 25th January 2019 with no advisories, the car is HPI clear and the road tax is, of course, free.
There are many MGB Roadsters on the market but very few in this condition. It is ready to be used and enjoyed immediately and, with the prices of really good Roadsters increasingly rapidly, should provide a sensible return on investment over the years.
Viewing is by appointment at my dry and well lit premises in Burwash, East Sussex. Please call me on the details below for further details or to arrange a viewing. Any inspection is most welcome.
