I am very reluctantly selling my Dax Tojiero 2003, with a sbc 383ci stroker. I have owned the car for just over two years now.
She sounds absolutely monstrous and she goes like a rocket with huge amounts of torque. An absolute head turner. Looks and sounds like it should be on the racetrack!
The car was featured in the 2017 UK Club calendar and pictured also in the 2018 calendar.
Correctly registered on the V5 as a Dax - there is a comprehensive history and huge invoice file of the build with every single MOT since registration. The car has been very well looked after by myself and no expense has been spared to resolve some niggles during my ownership (see below).
Key features include:
*Chevy 383ci stroker (6.3 litre V rebuilt by Mike Huddart engines
*Tremec TKO500 box
*Dark metallic Blue, Wimbledon white stripes with retro racing decals, red and yellow rookie stripes
*Mota-lita Wood Rimmed Steering Wheel and P700 headlights
*Black leather interior
*Full weather gear –admittedly doesn’t fit that great but I have never taken the car out in the rain
*Stainless pit lifters
*Smoked Sun visors, Side Mirrors, Stone Guards, Twin Stainless Roll Hoops.
*Hallibrand style wheels, fitted with 4 x Toyos with loads of tread left
The car has just covered 22k miles
Some of the works carried out in my ownership include replacing the starter motor and alternator, new engine hosing, a new custom built ali rad and fan fitted, new fan circuit and relay, fuse holder, MSD ignition overhaul, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, intake gasket issues resolved, ignition timing and carb adjusted. I have spent in the region of 3k doing her up over the last year.
The car is now running as she should and starts on the button.
I do not wish to part with the car but a huge house renovation means I have lost my garage and she has to go to pay for the build. Believe me I have tried to work round the dilemma!
I am asking for £36,500 or VERY near offer - the price includes the private plate TSU 427 !!! Will be sold with full MOT. Last two MOT's passed with zero advisories.
*No you can't turn up and drive it, but I will happily take serious buyers out in it. I am really busy opening up a new business at the moment, so PLEASE genuine enquiries only.
