1930 Graham-Paige Survivor Sedan SOLD

Rare NY-Barn-Found SOLID 1930 Graham Paige Sedan found with 21000 original miles. This vehicle was found 100% complete with wheels sitting up on blocks wrapped in linen cloth to protect tires and car over time. Current Owner chose to preserve the original patina, opting instead to rebuild the engine ($7k), rebuild starter, rebuild generator, rebuild water pump and Trans Clutch Assembly. Except for those few items to reassure its mechanical reliability, this rare example is otherwise all original. Vehicle includes a Reference Manual and registration card from 1952.
Not many vehicles from this manufacturer have survived making this one very rare example to own. All 6 rare wheel center caps with the Graham-Paige "heads" are intact, as is the rare glass tail lamp lens exhibiting the same detail. Originally equipped with only 1 brakelight on the left side, current owner found a 2nd brake-light and installed it on the right side to enhance brake-lights at rear (this can easily be removed for the purist-types).
EXTERIOR: Exterior is complete, solid with good panel alignment that works as it should. Except for light surface rust on this survivor, the vehicle is otherwise rust free. Exterior Color is 2-tone Black over Beige. There is blue on the door jamb areas where someone attempted to paint only the door jambs at some point (see overspray on seat), but it is not believed to be original. All hardware is in place. All Glass is intact and damage-free. The Roof Material has rodent-type damage at left front corner, but is otherwise original. Lester-brand tires are correct and original to this car. All 6 wire-spoke wheels are intact and undamaged. Glass Headlights are intact/ in-place. Paint is all original showing expected fade for its vintage. No signs of crash history or any repairs.
Exterior Trunk Rack is intact and non-rusted. Owner found a correct-type trunk and its included with this sale.

INTERIOR: Original Mohair interior is largely intact which you almost never see any more. There are small holes or wear areas evident. Floors are solid/ complete except for one cracked floor board on the far right side near rocker sill area which the owner still has to reproduce for repair-sake. Window Shades are present on all 3 windows and work as they should (albeit fragile). No unusual odors etc.
Dash gauges are correct and all work, but accessory fuel gauge added for reliability sake. Odometer shows 26k all-original miles.
Headliner is intact except for left front corner. Steering wheel is original, not cracked.

MECHANICAL: Current Owner chose to rebuild Engine ($7k+/-). Water Pump, Generator & Starter all properly rebuilt. New Wiring only where needed to deter fire hazard. Clutch & Trans Rebuilt-------work as they should. 1st Gear has a chip on one gear tooth for intermittent grinding, but that gear was N/ A as part of rebuild. Trans is otherwise fine.
Owner includes a few misc parts acquired over time in his ownership with the car.

An online search only revealed 3 other Graham Paiges of this body style so this is likely a very rare example that has survived to this day.
Price is set competitively in the spirit of a sale, but of course personal inspection and reasonable offers are encouraged.
Please direct any calls to: Chris 615. 979. 3058 for questions or additional photos.
Owner is getting some pressure to sell at big-block auction, but prefers a private sale to someonw who will value this rare example as he has.
I do not need any help selling this car.
