First registered January 1980 but is a 1979 build (confirmed on Porsche Certificate of Authenticity) so is eligible for more classic classes.
132k miles although clock (and MOT!) shows 63k with a documented replacement speedo at 68k.
Resprayed in Pearl White (over the original Alpine White) in 2004, with a pascha interior, the car is in good overall cosmetic condition given it is 38 years old. The original alloys were refurbished by the previous owner and are still perfect.
The car comes with its original manual and service book, 2 keys, an A4 ringbinder of history (including registration documents, MOTs, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, service invoices), also a new tailgate decal and Soram exhaust to give the car an original look when fitted. It has the sunroof bag, original spare wheel and complete toolkit in the boot.
I have owned the car for almost 5 years and taken it to a few Porsche owners club meetings across the country, it is currently SORN with the last MOT (no advisories) having expired in May 2015. The car has been garaged through my ownership and is regularly started, it now turns over and catches but will not maintain an idle (fuel accumulator issue?), so will need trailered away.
With minimal work this could be a rare and usable classic.
We are currently working on a rare non sunroof bodied 2.0 litre 924 to be based on the 76-77 924 martini ltd edition.
This will be our interpretation of a 40th anniversary special. We will be doing similarities but NOT a replica. paintwork,stripes and original refurbished wheels with new tyres will .....

We are currently 75 percent through a nut and bolt full restoration of a genuine 14000 mile turbo.
All original panels. It has been stripped back to a bare shell and fully repainted including underneath,with engine and gearbox stripped,detailed and rebuilt with new gaskets and seals.
We have just taken delivery of another genuine original Martini and like the other one we have will be subject to a restoration.
It has excellent original seats,superb carpets,matching numbers,superb dash,straight body etc.
The engine is superb but will be split and rebuilt with all new gaskets,rings .....

One of them, the 924 Gt whith the red interiour was shown at the Frankfurt Auto-Show 1979 and is now visible at the Porsche Museum Stuttgart.
