The Triumph Vitesse is a compact car with straight 6-cylinder engine, designed by Giovanni Michelotti (he designed several cars for Ferrari, Lancia, Maserati and Triumph). Triumph built the Vitesse as a saloon and convertible, between May 1962 and 1971. It was the performance version of the Triumph Herald. The first series of the Vitesse came with a 1.596 cc straight-6 engine, in 1966 it was updated with a 1.998 cc straight-6. In October 1968 the car was updated ones again and was named the Vitesse MKII. The MKII was equipped with new rear suspension with lower wishbones, upgraded engine performance, Stromberg 150 CDS carburettors, new grille and changed interior. Triumph sold the Vitesse untill July of 1971.
This beautifull Vitesse MKII is body-off restored in 2017. This restoration is done by a Triumph specialist in Holland on behalve of the current loving owner of the car. This Triumph is performed in a deep blue exterior colour combined with a black leather interior and a with vinyl soft-top including hood cover.
