Owned since 15/07/2016. Rear suspension struts replaced and MOT carried out 15/08/18.
Has been used for touring driving to the Isle of Skye and as far as Copenhagen, never missing a beat.
Whilst in my hands the jacking points have been re-welded and the rear wheel arches and inners replaced by a local classic car expert at a cost of over £2500. Serviced in June 2017 by a local classic Mercedes garage the car comes with a full report of the condition of the vehicle.
The vehicle was bought from Mercland in Nuneaton where the car was used by the owner and classic mercedes enthusiast. His ownership shows receipts for £1200 of spares including exhaust manifolds, full servicing, thermostat, wipers, spare keys, brakes hoses and rear springs being replaced.
Previous to this the exact history is unknown however there are MOT certificates going back to 1995 and a full service history going back until 1992.
The car has been fitted with electric central locking and a modern but in-keeping stereo, apart from this the car is in original condition. The paintwork is well cared for with no signs of rust. 4 new tyres (Dunlop street response 2) were fitted and balanced with the alignment checked in September 2016 at 155,000 miles.
Inside the car is fitted with 7 seats including two that fold flat in the rear, there are no rips tears or stains on the upholstery and the front seats are sprung and in good condition. There is a manual working sunroof that doesn't leak and all electrics work correctly.
The car has always started first time and has no issue keeping up with modern traffic.
Original service book, European road map owners manual first aid kit and roadside tools.
The car is a real head turner and I'm sad to see it go but the cost of an extension forces sale.
