1937 6 Cylinder Engined MG TA Special with Racing History For Sale
I have added 2 new photos for all those that were interested what the MG would look like with different wheels and Blockley tyres
First A brief history of the car..
The MG TA was brought to Austria by a British army officer in the 1940s.
The car was left in Austria and became the first racing car of the young Erich Breinsberg, where he raced in hill climb competitions. The original 4 cylinder engine eventually gave up, and was soon replaced with a 6 cylinder engine, which kept the car on the racing scene.
See last photo for More history information.
Now for the more recent history…
The present owner had the car transported from Austria to Brooklands BodyCraft in England, where the car had an Aluminium Racing style body made, and was fitted with a fully rebuilt 6 cylinder 14HP (1606cc)Hornet engine built and fitted by John Seber.
The present owner took the car on a successful Mille Milia Tour in May this last year, and has since been driven to many motor events.
The car comes with a tonneau cover and is presently registered in Germany
