1973 Peugeot 504 cabriolet by Pininfarina For Sale
The 504 cabriolet is one of the most beautiful cars Peugeot ever produced, albeit they were designed and built by Pininfarina in Italy on the rugged 504 mechanicals. This is an early, RHD car with the four-cylinder, fuel injected 2.0 litre engine, not the later V6, but has the nicer, slanting triple rear lights.
Completely resprayed in a metallic grey official Peugeot shade. The seating is sound, in black vinyl and the hood is a replacement vinyl one (also in black). The wheels are contemporary Peugeot alloys and the car runs as it should.
These are quite rare cars nowadays, especially in RHD. Authorised conversions were only carried out in the UK up to 1975. The MoT still has a few months to run although the car is, of course, now exempt from the requirement to have an MoT with effect from 20 May. With values of good LHD models nudging £30k, this must surely be the next one to go up.
