Dispatched from the factory in 4th Dec. 1951 to Mr R Way not much is known about the early history of this series C Rapide until it was purchased in an unrestored state from Millars Motors Ltd of Mitcham, Surrey in 1971 and exported to New Zealand. A lengthy comprehensive restoration was undertaken .....
Vincent Comet 1952, Non matching numbers, nice bike rides and starts fine, petrol tank has been treated. Dave Hills centre stand fitted, New seat fitted, Magneto overalled 12 months ago, some paperwork from 1956. A good usable machine, decent chrome, ride away, very realistic price. Ride away!
The frame and swinging arm (nickel plated) was built by Cyril Malem (CTG). the Borrani rims are wired with stainless Steel spokes on Dunlop K81 tyres. The front fork is a Ceriani GP.
