1966 Wolseley Hornet Mk2 rolling shell, abandoned project with real potential. V5c present.
The shell is complete with new subframes, brakes, suspension and running gear. The panels are excellent and the floor is good, but some attention is needed to the drivers side A post.

1st registered Jan 1932. Bodied by Eustace Watkins.1479 cc engine. During the period mid 1931 until our mechanic bought it, it had only one owner. It was his daily car until (he thinks) 1962 when it was laid up and all but forgotten. He bought it 17 years ago after rescuing it from its collapsed garage. .....

This car is bodied in an attractive 2+2 touring style by Abbey Coachworks. It is believed to be one of only 5 built by Abbey in this way and certainly one of the prettiest Hornet Specials in our eyes.
The 1.3 litre cross-flow Wolseley 6 cylinder engine with overhead cam was advanced for the pre-war .....
Original A series engine 998cc which runs amazingly. It still has factory original carpets and leather seats which are in very good condition, also original factory wheel arch finishers. It has never been welded in its life which you will be able to seen apon viewing it.
