First registered on 1st January 1926 as an open drive landualette, and supplied by Griffins, of Haywards Heath to Goddens, ML 255 spent the first ten years as a hire car. In 1936 the Austin returned to Griffins, who then converted into a fire engine for the Brighton .....
This is a unique 1951 Austin k8VA flatbed truck that has been fitted with a demountable caravenette body.
It is fitted with an Austin 2.2 petrol engine.
The vehicle was completely restored in 1998/99 including being stripped back to the bare chassis, all corrosion removed and the engine overhauled. .....

Very original ex-army cargo truck. Original low mileage 6 cylinder petrol engine. Sounds lovely.
The cab floor and bottoms of doors will need some welding but otherwise very solid.
