We meet on the first Tuesday of each month from 8.00pm at the George Hotel, Kilsby, Nr Rugby.

We are affiliated to the three major MG clubs:

If you do own an MG, we would hope that you do contribute to the MG world by membership of one of the recognised MG Clubs

However, while we are primarily an MG club, we are happy for anyone with an interest in classic, historic, sporting or kit cars to come along and take a full part in our activities. You may however need to be a member of one of the national MG clubs to take part in some of the regional or national events.

There is no membership fee!

We occasionally run raffles etc. to cover admin. costs and sometimes charge a nominal sum for entry to our events.

Our programme varies each year, but regular events include Sunday Club Runs, Evening Club Runs, Attendance at local shows, Group participation in regional & national events, and an Annual Dinner/Prizegiving. Occasional events include talks & Quizzes etc.

All of the MG cars or MG derived specials. Current models owned by members include PA, TA, TC, TD, TF, MGA, MGA FHC, Midget, MGB, MGBGT, MGBGTV8, MGC, MGF, MGTF, and MGZT. Other make of classic, historic, sporting or kit cars are welcomed.

Kilsby MG is run as an informal social gathering and no pressure will be brought to bear to attend meetings or events. If we have not seen you for a while, we may telephone to let you know about a forthcoming event you may be interested in.

Some History. Kilsby MG Club was planned in late 1993 with the assistance of the late Phil Ritcher of the Midland Centre. Our objective was to provide a local natter for the East Midlands Rugby/Northampton/Daventry area at a time when the nearest natters were in South Leicestershire, North Bucks and West Midlands. The first meeting was held in February 1994. Founder members Terry Baulch & Rick Willoughby are still associated with the club. A combined MGCC/MGOC club from the start, in 2001 Terry expanded our involvement by becoming our representative for the pre 1955 MG Octagon Car Club.

In January 2006, we changed meeting night from the first Monday to the first Tuesday to avoid clashes with bank holidays, also to give ourselves a bit more room at the pub by avoiding the Monday skittles & darts nights.

From our inception up until September 2010 we met at the Red Lion in Kilsby. When Tom the landlord of the Lion retired, we decided to relocate, and now meet at the George Hotel, Kilsby

We are pleased to have been awarded the MGCC Midland Centre ”Natter of the Year” in 2001 & 2008
