The Challengers Motoring Event 2019 welcomes all vintage, classic or specialist cars to join us on a bespoke route through the beautiful countryside. Meeting at the stunning Guildings Barn in Dorking in the morning for registration, bring your cherished motor car for a civilised mystery drive and meet other enthusiasts. This year we are returning to a private museum housing some of the most iconic cars from history for our end point.
This stunning collection has over 50 vehicles and endless motoring memorabilia including; a Lagonda V12 Le Mans which is one of only two that competed at the 1939 Le Mans 24 Hours and a Mercedes 300 SL which was featured in Classic Motor & Sport Car Magazine.
The end venue promises a hustle and bustle atmosphere filled of car lovers with food and other refreshments available, to help soak in the history and motoring culture.
The event supports Surrey based charity Challengers. At Challengers we are passionate about breaking down the barriers to play for over 1,400 disabled children and young people across our Pre-school, Play, Youth and Young adult schemes. Our schemes allow disabled children and young people the opportunity to play with their friends, have fun and most importantly challenge their impairments.
Option One:
Navigate a bespoke route through the gorgeous Surrey countryside using professional Tulip Guide, with refreshment stops identified.?You are then invited to a private view of a very special, private motor museum. All for just £60 per car, including driver & a passenger. Please note you will need to download and complete this registration form.
Option two:
If you don’t have a car to join us on the drive, don’t worry – we are offering motor enthusiasts to join us at the private museum and a chance to delve into the collection, for just £25 per person.
