1947 Citroen Light 15 RHD
Slough-built car exported from new to New Zealand and repatriated to the UK in 1994.
I bought this car from it's previous lady owner of nearly 10 years who had it regularly serviced, but was little used other than for the occasional trip out on a sunny day.
A genuine 1939 Slough built Roadster. It was on the road until 1965, when its then owner, after a trip to Marseille, sold it on Clapham Common to the secretary of the Citroen Car Club- for £5. It then passed to Fred Annells, of the Traction Owners' Club.
Fred had the car restored by the then bodywork .....
This RHD Slough built Citroen spent its life in New Zealand where they don’t use salt on the roads which may help to explain the absence of rust and in particular the exceptional condition of the underside.
It was imported to the UK and registered at the end of 2017 when I had it Waxoyl undersealed. .....
Very good driving condition, unrestored.
Unique "light 15" model, RHD luxury version made only for the English market, finished with leather and wood.
