First registered 9th May 1930, the Riley was purchased by the late owner in 1959. HJ 9902 had by then been turned into a Special, and restoration started on returning the car back to a 'proper' Riley. A tourer body was purchased, from what appears to have been a Mk .....

Chassis number 608120 left the factory on 2/1/1930 and will require an application for an age related number on completion. There is supporting correspondence from Gordon Ager of the RIley Register to this effect.

A beautiful Riley special, built as an Sports Special, the Body was built by John Pitney. After the New Body was built in the late 80´s the car was standing in an German Barn near Frankfurt.

Although the V5c states that this is a 1932 car, the chassis number indicates it is actually an early 1934 model.

This Riley was first registered on 20th July 1949 and has only 3 former keepers recorded on the V5. The car is presented extremely well throughout and has clearly been very well looked after by its previous owners.
