Have too many cars & not enough time, one has to go, so Wolseley on this site, a 1931 Swallow Bodied 2 seater , very rare, apparently one of only 21 made, dont know how many left, has a 1932 Hornet engine & a 4 speed gearbox fitted, a partial restoration by a now deceased owner with lots to do , spent .....
Original A series engine 998cc which runs amazingly. It still has factory original carpets and leather seats which are in very good condition, also original factory wheel arch finishers. It has never been welded in its life which you will be able to seen apon viewing it.

1st registered Jan 1932. Bodied by Eustace Watkins.1479 cc engine. During the period mid 1931 until our mechanic bought it, it had only one owner. It was his daily car until (he thinks) 1962 when it was laid up and all but forgotten. He bought it 17 years ago after rescuing it from its collapsed garage. .....
This car is bodied in an attractive 2+2 touring style by Abbey Coachworks. It is believed to be one of only 5 built by Abbey in this way and certainly one of the prettiest Hornet Specials in our eyes.

Our Wolseley Hornet Special has a roadster body from Hiltons of Rugby. The vintage car is restored and has a correct rebuilt engine. An appraisal report describes it with grade 2+. The petite roadster with the fine six-cylinder engine is just something very special.
